OSSO

OSSO Open source software oplossingen

OSSO started out in 2005 with the goal to give the needed bit of support which businesses need when they roll out Linux and other open source software. Besides that we would have felt guilty if we didn’t let companies and other organisations make better use of all those benefits open source software offers.

While starting out with Linux on the desktop we quickly expanded our work to the server-side where there was already an immediate demand for support. This work expanded in setting up Asterisk/OpenSER based VOIP solutions, BGP/OSPF routing, virtualisation, IPSEC/VPN, High availibility clusters and much more.

By now (april 2009) OSSO consists of a team of 8 people. 4 programmers, 4 system/infrastructure administration and design. We love high availability and mean and lean solutions.

Our services can be grouped in three areas:

  • System/network administration, design and solution building
We can offer support on most open source software and infrastructures. Supplementary we can design and fit solutions to your organization and IT infrastructure.
  • Software development
For software development we actively use SCRUM and Test Driven Development practices to provide successful project management, development speed, quality and end results. Although we can code in many different languages we primarily develop in Python and use the Django framework for webdevelopment.
  • Infrastructure / ISP services
We have our own fully fledged ISP infrastructure spread over 4 datacenters and 2 cities. We are RIPE NCC Member and a width range of services, from  IP Transit/Access to geographically spread (and fully redundant) hosting.

We often combine the above since they perfectly complement on each other. Since we base all of our solutions on open source software and have all required expertise in-house we can offer high quality for a good price.
