It rained all night and morning (still raining now). Good thing about it that I could sleep till 11:00h. Bad thing is the ground has difficulties with absorbing all the water (because it has been raining all week). So the ground is getting all soppy. I hope we don’t get electrocuted. Looking at the lecture [...]

In the late afternoon we could see a rainbow (not clearly visible on the picture). In the beginning of the evening we met some polish guys, they were nice people but little too demanding (wanted to drink all night with us). We went for food and afterwards lots of stuff came up. Really lot of [...]

Just got back from the PGP keysigning “party”. Besides the trouble of getting a print of my information so I could hand my key out, the whole proces was pretty crap (some annoying people there). Anyway I can live with that. Now the worst part, I have to import all the keys and sign them [...]

I don’t feel like doing much, skipped a lecture. And another lecture about censorship in China was cancelled because the speaker didn’t show up. Hanging around a bit and talking to some people I haven’t seen before and will not see ever again probably. Bought a What The Hack t-shirt. Radio subether (live from WTH) [...]

Today I participated in a workshop at the lock picking village for 45 min. And afterwards (20:00h) we went to a lecture about key bumping by Toool. Quite nice technique where you can open a lock in seconds. Cool thing it works on all the locks that are currently used in normal houses. Only thing [...]

I’m not gonna blog much about these lectures because they were not that great. The Mod Security guys could barely speak english. The honeyd guy gave a nice presentation but not all information was that useful. Maybe its because I knew both projects from before WTH and for both it was more a sort of [...]

There is an African coffee stand here, so we had to try the Sudanese coffee. It was pretty nice! Felt like it contained lots of caffiene too (or maybe some secret herb ). It looks like motor oil. In any way it was much better then the mountain coffee from Kenia (really awful).

There is a lot to see at night here. The lectures are finished for the day but there is really a lot of activity everywhere. It was a really nice day today even with the some tropical rain so now and then.
